Remedial Massage
Remedial Massage therapy involves a range of different techniques and styles, such as deep tissue, trigger point therapy and sports Massage, all in which focus on treating pain, injuries and discomforts.

Relaxation (Swedish) Massage
Swedish Massage is also known as a relaxation massage. A relaxation massage is a gentle style that promotes general relaxation, relieves muscular tension, plus improves circulation and range of movement.

Pregnancy Massage
Massage therapy during pregnancy is a healthy way to reduce stress and promote overall wellness. Massage helps to relieve many of the normal discomforts associated with pregnancy, such as backaches, leg cramps, headaches and oedema.
Massage is safe during pregnancy from conception through to labour. It is important to advise me if you are trying to conceive or if you are pregnant as the treatments will be altered to suit you and your baby. At Restore Remedial Massage and Wellbeing, pregnancy massage is performed in a side lying position as this is the safest and most comfortable position for mum and baby.

Hot Stone Therapy
Hot Stone Therapy is a type of massage that involves the use of smooth, heated stones. The heated stones are tested to make sure the heat is right for you. The stones are placed, held and moved throughout the massage.
The localised heat and weight of the stones warms and relaxes the muscles, allowing for deeper pressure to those areas without causing discomforts.

Myofascial Release
Myofascial Release is intended to help reduce pain and increase mobility in patients that are suffering from chronic pain conditions. This therapy also aims to improve the health of the fascia tissue.
There are two different types of myofascial release, direct and indirect. Direct myofascial release is used at Restore Remedial Massage and Wellbeing.
Direct myofascial release is the original form of this therapy and focuses on placing direct pressure on areas of fascia that have become compressed or restricted due to injury or scar tissue.

Cupping Therapy
Cupping Therapy refers to an ancient healing practice in which a cup or cups are applied to the skin, by a reduction of the pressure inside the cup. When the cup is placed on the body's surface it rapidly facilitates the skin and superficial muscle layers where they are loosened and lifted up inside the cup. Cupping is applied to any muscoskeletal region of the body that is effected by pain. There are two forms of cupping therapy, fire jar and suction. Fire Jar uses heat to reduce the pressure inside the cup, where as suction uses a mechanical device. At Restore Remedial Massage and Wellbeing, fire jar cupping is used.

All services are strictly professional and correct draping techniques are used at all times.
